The OzSkas are a fresh and energetic Sydney-based ska rocksteady/reggae six-piece band.


Band members:

Carol Bernhard - Vocals; Marty Fabok - Guitar, Al Scott – Guitar & backing Vocals; Craig Blundell - Bass; Simon Wale - Drums; Rowan Scott - Keys & saxophone. 


The dynamic group delivers an explosive mix of original Ska material and contemporary interpretations of classic oldies.

      Since their catapult onto the Ska music scene which began July 2014, they shortly after released their self-titled EP, The OzSkas. They have been blessed to perform and support many international acts such as: The Selecter (UK), The Toasters (US)The Beat (with both Dave Wakeling & Rankin Roger individual bands), Bad Manners (UK) and the RUTS (DC). 

     The OzSkas enjoy playing at annual SkaBQ events in Sydney and interstate, they also like to support community fundraising events such as SpecialOz'd with attract international guests like Roddy Radiation & King Hammond), and Sydneys Rock Against Racism.

    The Ozskas also enjoy organising themed events along with 'Rude As Entertainment' friends Lisa and Helen, for shows such as: ' A Night With The OzSkas'.

Most recently The OzSkas were enthralled to tour with Rhoda Dakar (The Bodysnatchers - vocalist) for her very first Australian tour in Jan 2020 as her touring band and as The OzSkas.

    The OzSkas take great pleasure and pride in supporting and sharing the stage with many of their Australian veteran ska brother and sisters who continue to perform live: The Allniters - (Marty's founding band who are still playing!), the Hangovers, Club Ska, The Porkers, Strange Tenants, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Fun Addicts, Kingston Stompers, Fistful of Trojan many many more, including up and coming ska bands!
